Re: Perfect Foil Kite Size to Reach the Extreme Low End with Hydrofoil

I agree with your friend. Been foilboarding since 2005 and what many newbies to foilboarding don't understand is that the demands for lightwind riding are different from conventional kitesurfing. Unless you are racing and looking for maximum power on the move the most important thing you need to lo...

Perfect Foil Kite Size to Reach the Extreme Low End with Hydrofoil

Dear Forum, I recently started using a hydrofoil and I would estimate that I can take my 8m kite down to at least 9 maybe 8 knots. I am now looking for a foil kite to allow me to ride in the smallest amount of wind possible. I am not able to test the kite anytime soon as there is no one in the area ...

Re: Some questions about Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka

Im curious about the waves there. Anyone have any links to some videos of people riding waves during windy season? Can anyone describe the waves here at this time? How close are accommodations to the waves?

This is my current bag. Can this bag pass for a snowboard bag?

Re: Delta Airlines Baggage Policy

Does anyone know if the airline check in counter has any right to actually open up and check what is inside your bags? I know TSA does, but does the airline?

Re: Attention All Airush Sector V3 Owners

Perhaps someone else can advise me. Would the solution be to drill out the hole using a drill sander? Of course I would ensure that the hole is the same size as the other four holes. It is very apparent the back center hole is just slightly smaller than the other 4 holes as the screws go in and out ...

Re: Attention All Airush Sector V3 Owners

Ahunt, I have just bought a brand new sector v3 on clearance and now I am having this same issue with the back center fin hole. The stock screw does not fit. How did you end up resolving this issue? I am confident that this is a production error and that the hole was not drilled out big enough for t...

Board for Kickers and Sliders

I am looking for a board as I begin to hit some kickers and sliders. How should this boards size compare to the twin tip I usually use? Bigger, smaller, same size? I found a good deal on a 133 cabrinha custom and I generally ride a 132 slingshot misfit. I weigh 145 lbs (65 kg).

Re: Light Weight Rider 10m vs 12m or other “Big” Kite

so I am wondering this, if wind is low, 10/11 knots, is there any kite (besides for a giant foil or racing kite) that you can actually jump with? I would guess that the only way you could jump is if you build up speed and then a 15 knot gust comes along. In constant 11 knot wind, even if you build u...
