I haven't heard anything particular about their big kites but i have heard their boards are not holding up and their business practice is not totally honest. I know one dealer who no longer sels their boards and one who totally dropped the slingshot line.

It would be great if everyone would edit their profile and fill in the "from" box with their home address. It would be another way to hook up with kitesurfers in our own area and identify people to places.
just my opinion
thanks, Phil

Any of them wearing personal protective equipment? What about leashes, were they required by the sponsors? This would have been a perfect opportunity to make a statement for the support of safety first.
Thanks, Phil

I do know for a fact that fish and game officers put an electrical charge into the water to count fish. They use a magneto type thing and electrocute the fish. The fish float up to the surface "stunned" I guess, and in a short while they swim off. But I agree with you concerning getting outathere (n...

i don't know how to post it as a link to click. You can go to then website under lifelines and find the pelican hook. i don't know why this would not work. At $15 is much cheaper than a snapshackle.

Think I'll tie a brass key to my kite line up by the stopper ball. When I see sparks jumping, I'll know to turn loose of the bar! Seriously, I have a carbon bar wrapped in foam and Q power lines. Wondering about the conductivity. And if down in the water and lightening strikes the water, do you get ...

My leash is attached to the front line only and it floats down like flag every time with no pull or spinning at all. A back line will make it spiral. One front line is larksheaded to a steel ring. The other front line passes through the steel ring and is larksheaded to another steel ring. to that ri...

We are each responsible for our own actions. We cannot blame the mfg.'s, instructors, stores, or the government. Even though I am hooked--no pun intended--, I know I can get hurt or worse each time I launch. It is a choice that I make alone. I do try to minimize the risk with safety gear. And the ne...

I use my old whitewater helmet. My wildwater brand is $60 us and very comfy with full coverage except ears. I also have a fiberglass "POLO" style that looks much sharper though a little heavier. There are some excellent whitewater helmets out there and you can have them made with custom paints/spark...
