Re: Does kiteboarding affect your sleep?

Yea, if I get off the water late. Had a sunset foil session last night and was in bed staring at the ceiling until midnight with a big grin on my face.

I‘m struggling to decide what would be a better 2 kite UFO quiver for Foil/Surf:

9m + 7m, 9m + 5m or 7m + 5m?

80kg
12-16knots = 80%
16-24knots = 18%
24knots = 2%
Im in the same boat but 70 kg with a 633.

Re: what are you workin on? kitefoil strapless freestyle progression

I've only rode strapless so far.. Foot changes before/ after gybes , sit downs, tacks (roll and duck), strapless pops.. I havent really mastered any yet but so much fun trying. Sit downs are so fun though, very close feeling to a reoccurring dream I had as a kid. "Sitting" cross legged flying above ...

Re: Slingshot UFO

Very interested in these kites.. wonder what the wind range will be for the 7 and 9m.. my 3strut 7m prodigy works down to around 12 knots so this must have a little more range.. Jumping likely won't be good.. My next quiver might be a 7m strutless and 7m struted lol. Change the foil with the kite de...

Re: which is the best upwind bodydrag technique to recover the board?

Stretched out like an arrow, as much surface area in water as possible, dont point up wind too high. I'm usually in light winds so keeping the kite higher is safer. If my foilboards ~5ft behind me I'll sometimes just keep the kite high and swim.

Re: Spaceskate - it's limits?

I can reckognize this - at some size wing it begins to be boring indeed, difficult to explain, but what happens is you can feel the drag, and low speed, and it simply feels "draggy" and less free and easy. Not a problem if small or big waves to play around in, but otherwise, yes, a tad faster (in s...

Re: Spaceskate - it's limits?

I also use a spaceskate as front wing working on my gybes at the moment. But I realized that the rides started to be boring. Not sure if it’s foiling itself or just the big wing. I switched to the yellow front wing (not sure what specific it is) I had as well. I assume my gybing attempts to be even...
