Re: how many squaremeters between the first 2 kites for a beginner?

I also do 3m gap... 6m, 9m, 12m, 15m. The gap is perfect. No it's not the perfect set up 6 to 9 is too big. There's times when a 6 is underdone and a 9 is too powered. I've seen many times when 7 or 8 is ideal. Works for me. But I like to be really jacked before i switch because its better for boos...

Re: Cuba for novices

The flats are huge (3km x 2km), and you can walk across the road and ride in the mangroves. but if you're the type of person that needs to be touching the next rider on the water staying 50m from the launch zone like the other 50 other riders on the water i could see how you might think its crowded.

Re: Cuba for novices

I took a 6,9,12,and 15. I didnt use the 6 this trip, but in the past i used a 7m on multiple days. Guillermo is not crowded. Guillermo is the best and there are a couple schools there to use. Ill be going in a couple weeks. Its my 5th time. Varadero is not great for kiting. Playa Santa Luc...

Re: Core Free 15 LW vs Cabrinha Contra 15 vs LF Solo 15,5

I rode the 17 Contra 15m for the first time this weekend. I have to say i found it surprisingly fast turning, lots of power but didnt jerk me around. I rode it back to back with my 12m SB and the SB seemed only marginally faster for turning. Wind was pretty but the 15m gave me some great float. Im l...
