Re: who is behind Wind Voyager?

Anyone know how much it costs, or is it a case of "if you have to ask you cannot afford it?"

Re: How much discount on a 2016 kite?

Is this a new kite that did not sell for three years? Might be a problem, what is it?

Re: Launching your kite in +25 knots fully depowered

Alfredo, I don’t see any opposing opinions. Everyone is telling you the same thing. You need enough power in the kite to be able to steer it. Re: 30.4m Jump on WOO?

Maybe, Kevin Langeree's 28.3m jump was 9.1s according to WOO, but that was in around 40 knots on a 9m kite.

Re: Beginner kite- Core XR5 or Naish Pivot

REAL was using Pivots for their teaching and rentals for a few years and I got both of mine one year old from them for half price, great deals. I don't know why they changed to Core, probably many considerations.

Re: Launching your kite in +25 knots fully depowered

Perhaps the warning is that if you fully depower your kite for launch, it is possible if your lines and bar are not well tuned (and sometimes depending on the kite even if they are) your back lines might be too slack and hence you lose steering right when you need it and the kite might fall back and...

Re: Which bar should I use with the Best TS V7?

It really is amazing that kite companies will not settle on the same basic bar arrangement. I realize that they want to "innovate" and some of them do, but settling on equal-length lines and low V and single-line flag-out seems essential today. I retired my 2012 Cabrinha IDS bar because it has doubl...
