Re: Joe Pasquali wins the 2015 Bluerush Kite Race Series

Re: Who will introduce the next foil kite?

What ever happened to the Zeeko foil? There were pics on Facebook and a "summer" release date and now it's gone quiet. Anyone know?

Re: Kites using this “ladder” bridle?

It's usually called a catenary bridle (even if it's not strictly a catenary). They've been used on foil kites since at the 80's and probably further back.

Re: Too late for inflatables in racing?

So I raced in Blue and then Silver Fleet in SF. There were a couple of us on LEI's and we had plenty of > 20 knot races. I have a 12m Chrono for light winds and used it on two days for the early races so those don't count. My feeling is that for the "average" middle of the pack racer an LEI is fine ...

Re: Maxime Claims Kite Foil GoldCup 2015 San Francisco Title

F-One foils kite and a Sword "2", although the wings are nothing like what you get if you go and buy a Sword 2. Black G10 and totally flat on the front and maybe 1 or 2 degrees of dihedral on the back. Adam Withington has some too. Any idea if you're going to sell the to the rest of use Taaroa?

Re: F-One Diablo Bridal??

There's a line that goes from the rear pulley, down to another ring on the rear line attachment, and then onto the rear line bridle. It's adjusted so that when you pull the bar in hard it really pulls the B/C pulley and the trail edge bridles and the kite cambers up a lot. It's used downwind.

Re: 2015 Kite Foil Gold Cup San Francisco Bay

The mixers are trying to adjust the angle of attack of the entire foil section, with a little bit of trailing edge tuck from the rear lines. The "turbo" system they're referring to, pulls on the B and C pulley once the bar is sheeted in a certain amount. This cambers up the whole section a lot. Ther...
