Re: Red Bull King of the Air 2020 - all info here

It was a great show. The production was much better this year, better on beach interviews, camerawork. Format and variety made it interesting. Some cracking heats 18 a fav. Nick, Jesse and Aaron deservedly finalists.

I think we could have the exact same discussion about nationality. Many Dutch, South African and French in the contest... and at the end 2 British and one Danish take the podium
1 USA
1 DK
1 UK
I like accuracy

Re: Twintip board recommendations for people with knee issues

...then I suggest you demo a carbon board and test your assumptions. Then you’ll know for sure. A "carbon board" could be anything from an ultra stiff wide flat rockered flat water light wind machine to a flexible narrow highly rockered high wind machine. So advice to "demo a carbon board" is essen...

Re: Twintip board recommendations for people with knee issues

This is interesting. I have never even tried a carbon board, but their reputation is that they are stiff and not very comfortable in choppy conditions. Now my primary hobby is cycling so I am quite familiar with carbon as a material. The biggest upside to carbon is how you might change the characte...

Re: Twintip board recommendations for people with knee issues

The wood core are cheaper and harder and less flexible than the carbon. I started with the wood core and now only ride carbon The carbon boards are more expensive (downside) but not by much these days. But they’re custom not mass produced. The upside is they are tough, really lightweight-next to no...

Re: Is Flexifoil out of the business ?

Why is that a shame? Their products obviously did not make us run to the shops... We can do without them. New brands poppin up every year... Agreed, never could understand why some people simply get attached to a brand or a name they often no nothing about, owners or management. As for Hadlow he wo...

Re: Is Flexifoil out of the business ?

Hadlow won 5 world titles with them so it is a shame.
was a pedigree name.
Shit management clearly.
Would be good to see it reborn but highly unlikely.
