Re: dyno vs draft vs rebel big sizes

For dedicated airtime in that windrange you can go to Chrono (v1) or Sonic. (Maybe there are more kites, these are the only 2 I know.)

Re: Help...need to replace 2011 dyno 13m and 16m kites

The adviced windranges for North rebels, are not for airstylers. For oldschool you will use them above. How far is up to you.

Don't know for Boost.

Re: oldschool Low and Slow transitions, beach starts and sli

Thanks quy's, really good to get such nice reply's. :D :D I used a 11m Cabrinha Crossbow with 27m lines (first 45 sec of the film), wind speed above 20 that day, maybe around 25. A 15m Chrono V1 in the middle part of the film, wind under 20. Chrono is excellent for hangtime in low winds, already aro...

oldschool Low and Slow transitions, beach starts and slides

Got myself an action cam last year and finally have something to show. I thought I would edite the transitions, beachstarts and slides and call it Low and Slow after all the WOO and KOTA action lately.

Re: 5th Line Trimming on Dyno 18m 2011

Keep all 5 lines equal length. Like normal. The part under the V, should have little tension when on full power.
That said, the 5th on the kite (bridle 5th) is a little short. You can lengthen that one a bit.

Re: Chrono V2 18 meter unstable

I had a short try on his 18m too, at the first run out of the bag. On the water it had less low end then my 15m Chrono 1 and less up wind capability. It had only a tiny little better upwind and low wind capability compared to my Dyno 18 2011. I had the feeling the kite did not came into full speed, ...

Re: Flysurfer Boost

Hello folks Today ZkateZ and I got together at the zandmotor, which is probably one the best flat water spots in Holland. Winds were not very strong maybe 14 to 16 knots max I was on the Dyno for a while and he on the Boost 18 m. The differences were small, but the Dyno felt more direct to me it wa...

Re: First try on FS Sonic 15m for Oldschool

The Sonic was a new kite. Might be tuning issue. Bar was not new. It was just wat I noticed. My weight it 78 kg. But I ride few sizes bigger then anybody on the beach. Nobody wants slow kites. My observations are from perspective of Airstyl/Oldschool only. A racer or freerider probably will not noti...

First try on FS Sonic 15m for Oldschool

I had the kite out for testing on just one day with not so steady winds around 15 to 18/19 knts. Well there is no doubt that this kite is one of the better kites for getting in to oldschool, but as a possible upgrade for my Chrono 15, this day was a disapointment. I did not have a direct comparison ...

Re: My experience with the Chrono 15m for Oldschool

I am your weight ,78 kg. I could hold the rebel longer then the dyno. Problem is, IMO, that the Rebel wants to go faster. More difficult to keep speed down. Make short tacks. Faster is more wind/more power. But I was able to hold edge to pop with good flat water. Dyno slower and yes less direct. I l...
