Moses 425 stab - very good

After flying the 483, 325, 330 and 450 I think Im settling in to the 425... its very good. It has almost the same span as the 483 and pretty much the same chord.....but its half the thickness....combined with the slightly upwards tips it gives the 683 a solid shot of speed without the twitching of t...

Re: Moses 483 vs. 450

Yuk....did not like the 450...the AOA is massive...I was practically standing on the nose with the 720.... wish they could have left it flat....

Moses 483 vs. 450

They have the exact same thickness under my caliper....and pretty much the same chord...

Only 3cm and small upturned wings....really?

Will test on Wednesday...

Re: Moses W 633 speed

Try the 720 with the 330.....you can grind it extremely hard into turns at speed and it doesn't budge whereas the 683 and 633 would fly out of the water under pressure...just my experience anyways.....

Anyone try the 720 with the 450???

Harness Lasting a lot longer

I usually go through a seat harness every year as the straps fray and the seams come apart in the caboose...

But foiling appears to be much less stressful on the harness...Ive been riding a new harness for two years and it still looks new...

Re: DIY Neo Strutless?

I ended up keeping struts on my neos after I got a cheap cloud and realized the way they handled (and strutless Neo handled) wasnt worth the drift benefit. I know a lot of folks are obsessed with these kites but for me a quick start off the water is important (for many reasons)....strutless kites do...

Re: Which Stab for the 720?

I finally rode the 720 with the 483 stab today. The wing can definitely go as slow as the 633 and 683 without stalling which is rather crazy.... Its also definitely has a little less roll stability, which is expected...but it felt twitchy (or more responsive?) and it seems to handle fast drops bette...

Which Stab for the 720?

Finally could afford to get my hands on a 720 and have yet to ride it.

I have a 483, 450 and 325 stab....which would be best for it?

Thanks

Re: Damage Waivers for Assisting Kiters

I did speak with an attorney about this waiver. He mentioned its plausible....but it would be more effective to get our group together and form a non-profit group, establish a contract that everyone agrees not to sue each other and then purchase insurance that protects members from others as well as...

Re: Damage Waivers for Assisting Kiters

What it comes down to is - what is negligence during a launch land. Who decides? Must two hands be on the kite? can the kite be laid down before applying weight? can sand be used? should the assistant refuse to flip it and hand it off the kiter at all times? Is an IKO instructor more vulnerable to g...
