A question for you Steph. Maybe I am hereing you wrong. You work for a watersports company that sells lots of kitesurfing gear and you managed to get someone a really good deal on equipment. How do you sell the gear if you know nothing about the sport? If customers asked you these same questions tha...

All the reviews I have seen for this kite have not been that stellar. Except for the pimps.

Don't know whether Best had an issue with the Waroo and blown leading edges but on our beach we only had two Waroos owned by the same guy and then one newcomer who took some lessons turned up with a 9m Waroo. Sadly his Waroo 9m blew up whilst sat on the beach on day two. So one out of 3 makes 30% f...

Bows will deffinately give you higher and floatier airs due to it's projected area, flat area and depower/power available. I did not witness but saw a vid of Best Team rider Noel Jambor boosting 50-70 ft. on a 9m Waroo in Ft. Pierce, Fl. in @40 mph. winds last winter. I think @ 15-20 peolple witness...

Awesome product that works great. The local shop can't keep them in stock but still have a few left. We have them on surfboards and skimboards and they work great.

Re: Light wind bow opinions

Looking at one of the few options: Switchblade 16m Crossbow 1 16m Assault 16m Answer 16m Not interested in Waroo 14/16 as the low end of the 12 was sub par. Why is the 12m Waroo subpar on low wind? Your compareing it to other 16m kites. I was riding a few days ago with my Waroo 16m, a North Rebel 1...

djsparco_m2, You can't be serious, can you? If you slam a kite into the water at full force and it explodes or rips, it's not the kites fault or the manufacturers fault. IT"S YOUR!!!! All kites can and will fail eventually in this situation. I think you are just bashing. I and just about anyone in t...

I like my bows for the reaon that when I throw down and miss the bar, the kite is still in the air when my head pops up with nearly no pull. If it hits the water (my bows) it just sits there ready to relaunch when i'm ready and if the kite is straight down wind on it LE, I just pull on a line and o...

I tested the Rebel 16m last week in lighter winds. 10-15 knots. I am 185 lbs. and was using a Sleene Door 159cm. The kite is a fast turner and felt like I was flying a 12m. Great for kite-loops and wave riding. For the lighter winds the jumps were floaty and the kite fun. In the air the Rebel looks ...
