Agree Dirk; this really shouldn't get so heated. I also ride switch and backside in waves. Both are fun and worth learning. I ain't great at either as I might be in waves two to three times per year. Snowboarding is also a good way to learn switch skills. ASP contests are won frontside and backside....

Developing backside skills and switch skills are worth pursuing.

My experience with 12m Screamer is the same as ShaveTheWhales. No fabric problems after a couple of years usage. It is my favorite kite to fly when powered up.
