Re: New strap system! Rotatable Footstrap Plate - turn your

I'm thinking this may work well on my OR Mako Wide 140x40 I think the actual strap and pad are better on the Mako and I'll would love if the OR straps would rotate.. The Wide is very surfy and I've been riding it mostly doing beach downwinders.. Like this? It took about 3 hours to make one OR "Swin...

Re: New strap system! Rotatable Footstrap Plate - turn your

I would love to see this system as a base plate designed to mount almost any of the current strap type bindings on the market. For example I would love to mount a set of LF Luxury straps complete with footpads on a swivel base like this. The footpads could act as the friction against the board nece...

Re: Where can I drill into my kite pump and not break it?

The best thing for your back is to disable the "up-stroke" by pulling out the little rubber diaphragm...then, use gravity to pump, and lift yourself back up with your legs. It takes longer, but is a good and back-healthy warm-up.

Re: systems for keeping lines in place....

I wonder if anyone is still selling the Turbolauncher "line manager" or the Kitelobster? I (and others) have made lots of different gadgets which not only 'manage' the lines, but also assist in tasks like taking the kinks out of lines or assisting in different forms of self-launching...do you want t...

"Freedom is feeling at home in a harness"

Hence the development of the' rotating' or 'sliding' foot strap.

Re: quick take out/ put in foot straps

I could picture a "quick-switch" foot strap, made with a strap of heavy duty velcro, which slips under a little bar, which in turn is fastened to a standard insert in the board. The velcro band would fasten to the top of the foot strap.

Re: Tri fin

I wonder if anyone has tried using a removable dagger-board, placed right under the rear footstrap, so that the rear footstrap is the handle, used to pull the dagger-board out for the downwind leg. With this arrangement, the kiter would "ride the fin" upwind.

Re: Wainman Hawaii Bridals Keep Breaking

Couldn't you just put a few inches of "inserts" of 3 or 4 mil spectra leader line in the bridles, like Best does?
