HB Anti 5'2 Biax Tech, anyone have it?

I'm looking for a medium/higher wind freestyle strapless board, and already having the 5'4 Anti, I was wondering if anyone has ridden the new Biax Tech 5'2 Anti, please? On paper it looks nice, but would like to know the real width and weight of the board and of course how it feels under the feet :t...

Re: Strutless Gong Kite Reviews?

Sorry but it’s more about the gusts (one can argue abt the average wind but I still say you have steady gusts so that’s what matters) and with that diagram you cannot really say that the low end is 5mph, ie. one cannot pass the fact that there was constant wind over 10 mph, especially when foiling y...

Wetsuit repair glueing - glue doesn't stick and comes off?!?

So I have a NP Elite suit, which has these rubberized seams (5mm wide rubber-like glued things over the seams), and a few spots of these seams leak a bit, and in freezing temps it's not nice :) Hence, I have tried different glues (neoprene specific and also liquidsole / stormsure glues), but all hav...

Bump, do you get water through the suit or only via arm, leg and neck hole, please?

Thanks!

Re: Xcel Drylock X 5/4 hooded - the best one?

Thanks very much for the feedback. One more question; is the Xcel watertight, ie. does water get through the neopren? I mean I currently have NP Elite 5/4 and it has this smooth skin outside and it's basically dry inside from core area, but unfortunately now some of the seams in the crotch area is l...

Re: Duotone 2020 bar with new lines?

In my case, 10 months as my main bar for on average of 4x a week in strapless riding. A handful of times on the twin tip, maybe 5....broke when my neo was falling out of the sky after a failed strapless jump and drifted backward...once wind caught it one of the center lines snapped just above the s...

Re: Strutless Kites Cloud vs. Gong

Also, when someone quotes 7knots, is it the average or "gusts", with an average of say 6 knots. We have on the spot a wind meter and I (80kg) need 7avg and 8-8,5 knots in gusts to be able to ride with 12m Boxer and 633 (pumping). And this spot has _very_ steady winds. After all, 7-8 knots is really ...

Xcel Drylock X 5/4 hooded - the best one?

I need a new suit and I want it to be 1) super warm 2) doesn't suck water like a sponge (some suits do) 3) be light weight I guess there are pretty much Rip Curl's Flashbombs, Patagonia's suits and then Xcel, but due to fitting, I think the Xcel would suit me best. Have you any experience on the Dry...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

well there you said pretty much; to put it simply Pulse 2 is very thick kite and the new ones, Souls etc. are not (among other things) due to increased performance, hence the new ones can go quite far in to the wind window which becomes problematic in very gusty winds ie. kite shooting to the edge o...

Re: Modify a carbon mast to fit a slingshot hoverglide fuselage

Question, please: I have Moses Fluente with 633 wings, and the 91cm mast in certain situations (waves with low tide and reefs) is a bit too long and I would like to have a shorter mast, abt 70cm would be perfect for these conditions. However, Moses 71cm mast is quite expensive and hence I’m looking ...
