Re: Best foils for SUP "wing foiling"

My go to set up is the Axis 100 front wing and short fuselage with 440 rear on a 68-75 centimeter mast.

Re: Wingfoil mast lenght

Instead of the shorter mast, a shorter fuselage will make it pump easier onto foil. I put the foil forward in the track and then have found the shorter fuselage helped me get up way quicker.Went from the Axis 102 tot he 100 and now it's all I use for sup foil and wing'ing. Just don't forget to move ...

Re: The new Cabrinha Autopilot, Hi:Rise Varial & Carve

I hope the big brands start to make stuff for the people that weigh over 175 lbs and don't live in Maui. I tried to surf foil a 4'10" @ 45 liters and just kept stuffing the board then went to a 6.0 @ 70 liter board and was able to pop up and ride so easily. I see a lot of guys quitting the surf foil...

Re: Onboard air compressor...

This is the system I use https://kitehouseinstruction.wordpress.com/2011/08/02/74/ hornblaters.com has all the components https://hornblasters.com/collections/air-compressors/constant-duty I recommend setting up two of them since at least 7 cfm will get the job done quickly with no wait time. They h...

Re: too light to drift downwind?

The Carbon wings with the carbon fuselage gives it a lot of buoyancy which is great for water starts strapless. If you want it to sink down and lay flat every time, switch tot he aluminum fuselage. I find sometimes the foil is like an old jet ski and goes around in circles in the current.

Re: Moses 633 or SS GW 91 on LF Galaxy?

With the bigger surf wings, I usually just move the track all the way back and then ride with no rear strap. Your rear foot will be front of the rear strap. There's some stuff online about shimming the rear wing on the moses to eliminate the need to move the rear foot forward of the rear strap but m...

Re: Looking for comparison of LF Impulse and Moses Onda Foils

I ride the Impulse set up on a galaxy and I love it. I have also ridden the Moses wings a bunch. The differences are that the Moses is more skatey. Can ride at a higher speed and is sharp as a razor and pointy ended. Go with the Impulse and save the $ and future injury of getting cut up. I have 8 st...

Re: Moses Onda 633 SUP combo - what board is your choice?

Any board where you can put the foil all the way to the tail of the board will work fine. If you have a Moses board already, get a board shaper to install a track towards the rear of the board and it'll work perfectly. The big surf/sup wings work great when you can ride with your rear foot in front ...

Re: Liquid Force Impulse review

the Impulse wings will work with the Rocket Fuselage. The shorter distance is the same as not using the further spaced holes in the newer fuselage. This just gives you a smaller turn radius and will need less pressure to go up and down on the foil. I recommend the HD fuselage for the Thruster wings ...
