Re: Pocket board building

Ok, the PU 1200/600/50mm foam is $10 here. No sanding, only hot wire. The blanket is documented in here: http://boardbuilders-forum.1077691.n5.nabble.com/Silicone-heat-blanket-td1064.html#a1225 Mat did his blanket as well, search above forum. The guy here has 15mm wood board, carbon on bottom and hu...

Re: Pocket board building

Ok, Thats great to hear. However, wood has this nasty behavior in the heat box which Im sure we well know about ;) Closed cell core does not. Two different things. Just to clarify, I am all for curing but with a silicone blanket and a PID. Much better control. You do not want a heat box and wood cor...

Re: Pocket board building

How much is balsa in Sweden?

Not sure what you are trying to prove with balsa, the volume is not that bigger than just a plain plank of wood.

And Handy, its one thing a TT style build and SB ;) I would argue none of epoxy SB are cured.

Re: New Flysurfer Stoke and new Bar

Why u asking me? Ask anyone who also agrees that this is a blunt copy of Best bar. Normally, I would expect a high standards and the development from FS, and not copying something Best did in 2014! Which I could buy from Best for $80-90 when discounted. Plus shipping. Here, FS v2? With the same clea...

Re: New Flysurfer Stoke and new Bar

So, The new FS bar is using a generic clam cleat which can be purchased on the Internet? And the release is still using a pin going through the line? Plus the swivel which is exact copy of Best one and it gets eaten by the depower line in one season with heavy riding? Definitely worth the wait. Pure...

How ignorant of us not to check of he's had lessons, a medical check, how far he can swim, his state of fitness etc. We just answered the guys question FFS. Heaven forbid he's wants to research such a topic without clearing that shit first. I have a car that does 144 mph, doesn't mean I'm going to ...

Re: How to make a wind-kite-board-weight table?

You are a beginner and have 4 kites and 2 boards? Sure... The wind/kite sizes is on the website, no? The ba.lls size is not tho ;) it helps with gusts. And to the guys who responded, completely missed the point. No beginner should go out on more than 18-20kn. This is not about you guys showing out, ...
