Re: Ozone Kite water drains

I have v2 13m and yep, it takes water inside quite easily.. In high winds I have re-launched the kite and water came out from the tips. I bet it's better if you can keep the kite one tip down at the time. If you keep it laying trailing edge down the water won't flow to tips. I have also dropped it t...

Re: Woo Sports Updates?

I got new woo3 from woo support (I've been super happy with their support) last summer because the woo went totally crazy and worked about 50% of the time. And after few months of use the new unit went also crazy, led flashes all the colors randomly and doesn't affect to button press. And now it's t...

Re: Ozone Edge V10 vs V9, can you compare from use?

Sad if ozone made new edge more all-rounder with less AR - they already have many beginner friendly kites.
But hard to say from the pictures.
I wish all the kite brands would share all the numbers on their website like flysurfer do.

Re: Eleveight OS vs Slingshot Ghost

Tried 12m OS once and I liked it, but I would still put my money to gong one strut. Haven't tried it but I have gong strutless which is a great kite, and they're cheap too.

Re: Are Carbon Bars worth the extra price?

^add Naish to your list. I had crazyfly full carbon bar which was heavier than any of my aluminium bars :D The weight wasn't the only bad thing about that bar.. I have also one DIY-carbon bar, it isn't strong enough to unhook but great for hydrofoiling. When the bar is super light (650g complete wit...

Re: LF P1

I bought 9m P1 from you-love-it discount (588€ to home - and they delivered it fast. Have read a lot bad experiences too). The wind was quite light today (woo 7.7m) but so far I liked the kite. I'm a fan of of high AR hangtime kites and I had and have Naish draft, flysurfer boost, switch nitros, lf ...

Re: LF P1

First they discontinued NRG (I liked that kite), are they selling now the rest off and going to discontinue p1 too?

Re: Which Gong foil for begginer

I have been hydrofoiling for three years now and still super happy with gong M size classic surf foil (I started with a faster foil). It's fast enough for me. It goes 25-30 km/h: https://youtu.be/B0QBuTGTg_s?t=306 Haven't tried pro wing yet but I bet both are good enough for a long time. If I was yo...

Re: Any Vantage kite reviews?

Tried vantage yesterday. 9m kite and 20+ knots wind.
It is a good kite but didn't feel anything special.
I'm a fan of hang time and smooth landings. Hang time was good but I felt it loses a little to the best LEI ones with flat profile and high AR, like flysurfer boost.
