Re: Release agent hit or miss.

Probably not. The PVA should wash off with water, which is what made the system work in my case (I'm making the assumption that you are using a similar process). The way I understand it is that the wax is the main release layer, and the PVA a backup. My experience has been that applying the PVA is a...

Re: Release agent hit or miss.

I've used PVA release agent in the past, but only on waxed surfaces. Typically a gel coat or painted mould with at least 6 layers of carnuba wax. Then release agent.
Even with a smooth surface, the wax layer is recommended to reduce surface reactivity.

just treat 'em like any other large mass getting pushed slowly downwind with minimum mobility ( ie go around/jump over/rail slide on)
Now that's more like it! Mobile rails

Re: First wake board build

I'm after flex, as this is a park wake board. I though almost all cable wake boards were using triaxial glass, but maybe I got that wrong? 1.2kg does sound awfully heavy though... And that's not counting the top and bottom sheets, inserts and the bindings I'll be bolting on.... I'd better do some m...

Re: Running Splice Cleat

I'm struggling with the idea of riding without a safety flagging line. If shit happens do you just let the kite go? There are many different ways to manage an emergency situation, and different people have different appetites for risk. I ride without a kite leash permanently attached, but the leash...

I would be skeptical about the xps holding up for long...delamination.

Is anybody having good luck with it long term?

I am doing full corecell M80 cores now. My 109x45x2 naked carbon is 2.1kg and its bomber with 19oz carbon skins plus uni.
I love the corecell M80. Such a nice foam!
