Re: Moses W585 vs W600A - differences

OK now i know - 585 is slower about 4 knots than w600a,and its little less stable. Info from Moses factory Top speed of a race wing is something REALLY hard to to measure, and ill say 99% of us wont be able to make that test. What makes a race wing better then others, is stability, balance and stal...

Can you please send some photos how much you blunt it. Many thanks!!!

Its for pedro :)
I dont have it with me, but basically all sharp edges now have about 2mm instead of less than 1mmm and are rounded.

Let us know how it affect Onda performance. Being knife like is my only complain to Onda :)
You can sand it no problem, ive a friend learning with a onda and i sanded his wings to something that will still hurt alot if it hits you but is less likely to cut, and the foil still works great.

Re: is super light wind the promised land?!

Tuning and relaunch tips?? Gloves, and what next, fins?? I'm sorry, but this is not the promised land. 10 Knots may sound ridiculously high to those that are please with simply riding along, but to many a kiteboarders it is impossibly low for the kind of riding it allows. The dark arts of the lowes...

Looks light! That medium aspect kite looks stable in that wind.

Re: is super light wind the promised land?!

That is impressive. Make sure to maintain your depower or B limit on the kite and have a play with Z to see if you can go lower. Messing around with kite trim is what is coming next, did already some experiences based on a post in the foil kite session, but hard to feel differences in such light wi...

Re: is super light wind the promised land?!

Pedro you seem to understand some of the swimming relaunch technique, awesome! Good we can used the parked speed as a reference. I like to reference my kites behaviour for wind speed over the water, but glassing conditions are usually very light on open ocean. The 5knots standard and 4knots ultrali...

Re: is super light wind the promised land?!

Yes, but we are talking about deepwater relauch in this condition not waterstart. And thats i have yet to see. In 4 knots it really depends how the kite touched the water, if its just the trailing edge for a few seconds its fine. If one of the surfaces of the kite got all wet then it gets much hard...

Re: is super light wind the promised land?!

No standart cloths just dont park at 5 - period. There not even such a thing as stable 5 knots... If there is no wind at water then you are screw. Also kite did not fall to starting position ready to be relauched they even dont fall LE down opened and ready to reverse. They usualy fall at the edge ...
