Drive up north a bit! Better access and better waves. Pompano Beach, Deerfield, Boca, Delray.

Re: Anyone tried foiling with a wing?

No need of a harness to ride the wing? Or it's only for athletes?

Re: Kitesurf pop-up bag

Sounds interesting as an additional resource in case you get stranded in the middle of a downwind for lack of wind, or gear break, or if I'm planning to come back in a bus or taxi and have to walk. But if the downwind goes well, I can have all the bags that I need in the downwind vehicle. Material s...

Re: How to repair sliding Cam battens (North Rebel)

Never happened to me, but I would try sewing it by hand. A few stiches should do it.

If you have a repair shop close, I'm sure they won't charge you much to do a pro repair. However, a DIY may be good enough.

Re: That guy is dangerous

Why would anyone not wear a helmet while climbing? Rocks fall all the time. Do you climb? Not everybody every time wears helmets. In sport climbing helmet off is more common than helmet on. The same in kiting. It depends on the conditions. For me, non sense to wear a helmet in 12 knots. Chances of ...

This brand split is confusing my consumerist mind. I may be going back to Naish.

Re: 13m 3 Strut for Foiling & Twin Tip Free Riding?

No. I don't know much about those kites. I've demoed the Contra 15m for a twin tip session and I liked it for free ride. I guess it'll keep you in the water, nice depower and easy to relaunch. Probably not a great booster on the twin tip. The turbine has 5 struts, doesn't it? It may be heavier. I wo...

Re: Leaving bar attached to foil kites: why do lines twist?

It happens to me too. Don't know the solution yet. Keeping the bar inside or outside the bag didn't make any difference. Somehow the inner lines get twisted while winding the lines.

Re: 13m 3 Strut for Foiling & Twin Tip Free Riding?

* Is a 14m to 10m too big a gap? I don't think so. You can benefit from a 3m gap, but 10-14 is perfectly doable. * Is a 13m Light Wind 3 Strut light enough to foil with? On what wind? At 95kg You'd be perfect around 12knots, and probably fine around 10knots. Not sure about high end. * Is a 14m Light...
