Re: 3D printing of kite plastic parts: low friction sliding ring

This post was started to show to audience a new way of distributing kitesurfing parts. The price of the parts is still high but shipment costs and pollution is low because produced and sent from your country. For example a product made in China has a low cost but has to travel a lot before arriving...

Re: Apple Watch Series 2...

How is the data accuracy? has anyone compared app results with woo/xensr sensors? To users that have used the app - do results seem reasonable? All jumps get registered? I just got this from Xensr a few minutes ago: Yes, same algo behind the data. However, the measured height would be slightly diff...

Re: Ocean rodeo Soul too KB specific?

Yes thanks you all.....As I thought, the OR Soul is the one....So the last thing I need are booties and gloves for conditions just under 50 degrees in the chesapeake area.....I'll prlly need some kind of lid but never used one surfing or diving.... Ref lid: some local kiters here swear by natural w...

Re: Apple Watch Series 2...

I just became a “me too” on this topic. According the to web site the app is free. What about the data? Does it require in-app purchases and that kind of garbage or is it really free.

Re: Advice on foot straps for injured knees ?

It is also important to consider the alignment of the pads on the board. Too much toe in or too much toe out can cause a great deal of knee pain after simply riding for awhile. It depends on the alignment of your knees. If you’re knock-kneed you may want them straighter or if bow-legged you may want...

Re: Ocean rodeo Soul too KB specific?

The flexible panels in the Soul make freedom of movement a priority. I would think that would be a priorty for a surfer (as well as kiter). It _is_ like a snow-ski suit when you have it on - wait, that makes sense in cold weather sports! Standby mode is awesome when you are taking a breather and wan...

Re: Don't show us your hook

Image shows my Cab 1X bar directly connected to SS ring on spreader. You can see the lack of hook and the lack of chicken loop has really shortened everything very nicely. I can reach the trim control from any position because the distance is so much less. Reachable even wearing a breast harness. ht...
