Re: Average Joe Kite Review- Light wind kites

Would you guys be able to add ... the Griffin Argo 17m? ... and ... the Griffin TRX 17m. I agree and would like to see both models in the test too. [Disclaimer: I am a rider, I don't sell these or any other brand of kite or any equipment of any kind. I've flown neither the Argo17 nor the TRX. I'm o...

Re: GoPro editing and stabilization

...what I need software wise (to stabilize and edit) [video] Hi nicor, Have you considered using the YouTube video stabilizer available in the YouTube editor? Works well enough for most and is inadequate for studio professionals. Here are some resources if you're interested: Technical mumbo-jumbo (...

Re: Average Joe Kite Review- Light wind kites

...decision on the ultimate travel kites! Hey James, I've packed down the 12m and the 17m Cloud during these trials. I'm talking a 12m & 17m kite, harness, 2 bars & shorty probably in a 22" roll-aboard suitcase. Rent a board on location. That could be money and sounds pretty ultimate if you travel ...

Re: Average Joe Kite Review - Epic Infinity V3

All viewpoints are biased... Exactly! I am one of the Joes and I am not offended by any thing in this or the other thread. The whole bias thing in the last post was TIC and designed to point out exactly what you said. I am looking forward to seeing the upcoming reviews and think that Curt has good ...

Re: Average Joe Kite Review - Epic Infinity V3

With all this info at hand, any shop's review will be extremely useful, regardless of production, editing and commenting bias. Your viewpoint is biased. I believe your intent is genuine so I won't ask if you sell kites, are a competitor to XLKites, if you're associated with any brands discussed her...

Re: Average Joe Kite Review - Epic Infinity V3

I hope I have not offended you. Nope. ...it doesn't suit your riding style... That is pretty much what I said in the video But I also do think that when a shop reviews 5 kites and sells 4 of them, the one kite it doesn't sell will probably get a different treatment by the editor of the review. Fair...

Re: Average Joe Kite Review - Epic Infinity V3

I think it's the single most important [disclaimer] concerning a shop's review. Why? Disclaimer: I'm one of the Joes, XLKites is my local shop, XLKites is ultra generous with time, equipment, advice and all things kiting even though I've spent more money buying gear over the internet than from XLKi...
