Re: Kitemare warning about crossed lines!

I'm not convinced an adaption to the bar would solve the problem here. It doesn't take much of a pull on the wrong side to start the problem. You see the same problem where I live with people driving over cliffs in automatic cars. They push the accelerator instead of the brake and because its not gi...

Re: Kitemare warning about crossed lines!

Not depowering the kite when on land Riding a directional on a lake / fjord / river? 1. Why would you want less steering input at the point where you want to be most sensitive with the steering? i.e. To control the kite towards a helper to land it? 2. Whats wrong with riding a directional on a lake...

Re: Switching from foil kite to high aspect LEI kite. Worth or not?

The bar pressure on my 9 and 11m Rebels (2019) is heavier than the bar pressure on my 10m Soul so not sure that would solve that particular issue (though I prefer the balanced pressure that the Rebel has). I'd rate the gust handling as very good though I think the rebel backstalls more easily than m...

Just make sure that front line safety is long enough to allow Soul to flag out. If bar cannot travel far enough you get a looping kite.
Do you know how long that flag out length needs to be?

Re: Any OR Roam Allula reviews yet

I'm not sure how many are actually in customers hands yet. There is one at my beach (10m). I have seen it in action quite a bit and it looks like it flies nicely. I have seen it working on both a twin tip and a foil (though not ultra light wind as you'd expect being only a 10m - the Flite would be b...

Re: China copies of big brand kites?

Is it Liquid force by any chance? They closed down their kite department so there are a lot of closeout sales on them around for very attractive prices as no-one wants to be left with lots of stock.

Re: Naish Triad downgrade from Ride?

ATB is easier to adjust on the fly. Not so much a problem for experienced riders who may set the trim once and then leave if for the session using board edging to control the power but less experience riders will use the trim more often. ATB can be adjusted easily for arm reach. BTB is basically tra...

Re: Best TT for Big Air?

Where can I see board sizes of riders from king of air? I've been looking into what boards pro riders use for high powered hooked-in riding. Looking at the King of the air and Megaloop Challenge competitors... I found that quite a few people actually use bigger and wider boards for powered riding w...

Re: Best TT for Big Air?

Simple. Its the Ten kiteboard - the mark (https://ten-kiteboarding.com/the-mark/). Has an extra central fin for more grip when loading up. No idea how it rides otherwise but that thing is going to allow you to go bigger if your skills are up to it. But if you aren't regularly hitting 10m already the...

^^^^ What he said.

Looks fine from the photos. Should repair nicely though it won't be cosmetically perfect any more.
