Re: Wetsuit for cold water/air

Good fit of a winter wetsuit is probably more important than brand. Neil Pryde fit well for my shape so I buy the cheapest one every couple of years My personal tips would be to get an impact vest and a hood ( I can't fit a hood under my helmet so I make do with just a helmet which is alright). Both...

Re: Kitesurfing in Decline?

What do you guys all think is kitesurfing on the decline? and if so what are you doing now if your not kiting so much? i guess as a retailer its interesting to find out the reasons why and how shops can improve and what do you expect from your shops?.. I think it might look like that as the local a...

Re: North Rebel is a bow because it has concave trailing edg

pretty much 100% positive North don't pay the L Bros any bow patent royalties for the Rebel. There are a number of criteria to make a bow kite. The concave training edge is one. The bridle is another, pretty sure bows are 4 line too. Out of interest, how do you know? I was under the impression that...

Re: current kite bag style

FWIW, I recently saw a post somewhere (sorry, don't remember where) where a guy supposedly described how to "wear" a kite when traveling by air. Yeah, sounds absurd to me too. Anyone else see this? Link? I think that was me posting the link before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwxQpXmJXAk I think...

Re: Aaron Hadlow seizes Red Bull King of the Air Throne

Nice event footage but I wish they zoomed the camera out a bit for more of the jumps. Could only see the kite on one of Hadlows handle pass jump, and for me watching the kite loop during the jump enhances the jump. Without seeing the kite too many of these jumps started to look a bit dingle dangle b...

Re: Predictions for Ram Airs in 2015

PMU don't get that when the wind drops right out, you STILL gotta drag that LEI to the shore. Last year I swam out to help someone, and when I got to him, he grabbed his board and fucked off to shore and I got stuck towing a 13m Crossbow :o was worse than towing a foil, as the skin of the LEI was c...

Re: Epic Renegade 13M vs Wainman Big Mama 15M

Never considered wearing the neoprene jacket in the water before. How long does it take to dry out after use? Does it get heavy when wet?

Sounds like an interesting idea for the cold.

Re: Ocean Rodeo Go-Joe , or reel leash?

I was bought a Go Joe for christmas. It works pretty much as the videos on the website. Flips the board over and sails it back downwind. Disadvantages: Board probably goes almost to fast downwind. Makes the board less easy to carry. I'd be surprised if anyone else picked your board up to bring it ba...

I haven't tried it but this looked fairly sensible
