Your positive attitude is an example for us all. Best wishes for recovery. As someone above said, miracles can happen...and let me add that if you work hard on them, i believe they can happen more often.

Would you say the best site for the St. Pere prognosis is Windy.tv? Is it typically accurate?
Hello,

I always use windfinder pro, and if is sunny and the wind shows the right direction -SE-, then usually the wind kicks in.

Re: What do you think is the optimal board size for Airstyle ?

I did take the 141 version. Due to the small tips it is important to take one size larger than you would take usually. otherwhise it starts very very slow cheers Jan I am considering the tronic, either 141* 42 or 137*41. What would you recommend? I am 68 kg, have switchblades 9/12 m, doing mostly h...

Kite and travel in Canada during August-looking for advice-

Dear Canadian friends Me and my wife (both from Spain) are planning a 4 week trip this august. The agreement with her is 3 weeks sightseeing/touristic stuff, and 1 week kiting. So, this year we are thinking of going to Canada, and rent there a multivan (VW California or similar) , to be able move ar...

Re: Looking for kite recommendation that fit my style (mixed, but mostly oldschool)

60%- TT Hooked tricks. Needs 5 strut high aspect sle. 20%- Strapless Freestyle mid aspect 3 strut sle, hydrid C 5% - Wave low aspect 3 strut 5%-Unhooked 5 strut mid aspect C or hydrid C 10%- Foiling mid to low aspect 3 strut or less struts. So 5 strut high aspect kites boost well, glide well, go up...

Looking for kite recommendation that fit my style (mixed, but mostly oldschool)

Hello guys, I would like to ask for advice, for my next kite quiver purchase. I am 67 kg, and own 12/9/7 m. Switchblades 2013 and although they have served me well, I need an upgrade. Winds where I live are mostly 14-16 knot , or 19-22 knot on good days, open sea choppy water without swell. I am thi...

I wonder what kind of light wind do you aim to cover? 20 knot :-)?

Re: What does "glide" mean ?

I'm not sure this is right. A better glide ratio does not mean 2x speed. A 3:1 glide will touch down before a 6:1 glide assuming speeds are identical. OK glide speeds are unlikely to be exactly the same, but it will not be exactly twice the speed either. no. that is exactly what does happen. a 6:1 ...

Re: What does "glide" mean ?

The amount of hover you get in a darkslide depends mostly on three things 1) how big your kite is (this gives you more hangtime) and 2) line length (longer lines give you a longer swing arm and thus longer darksldie) 3) power & speed going into the trick . Doesn't have much to do with the kite actu...

Re: Darkslide Variations

Hello, Thank you all. I will try all the recomendations! I will let you know the outcome! I will try to slow down the kite- (smaller bar, inner knot connection, maybe longer lines), or maybe use bigger kite when the wind drops. And try to loop higher, and fishpole it, or hold a bar floater to close t...
