Re: Fortaleza Nov Trip Info

"Wind is strong for foiling, at 90kg I often use 8m on tt,mostly 9m, rarely 10. Dont think you will foil on light days, they dont happen in Nov and if they do you will want/nead a break." Its difficult to give direct advice, without knowing one's preference... Me for example, I enjoy foiling in high...

Re: Kites available in sizes smalelr than 4m?

I also own a quiver of 4/5/6 and 8m Bandits and also a 3m Breeze. It is excellent for hydrofoiling in strong winds, super smooth and progressive, my no limits kite! Hello Windmaker, I have a quiver of Bandits, with 6m as the smallest, thinking of getting a 4m as well. Would you recommend the 4m Bre...

In marginal wind, I prefer the option 3. (pivot turn)
With a 1000cm2 front wing and a race kite...

Cheers
Is there a video of this gibe?

Unfortunately no.
If it would help, I try to make a video in May/June...

Re: Wave kite size recommendation

totally brand dependent IMO.
if you come from C kites, try the Bandit.
If I had to take one kite for 15-25 knots on a strapless surfboard, it would be a 9m.
(80kg)

Those look pretty good as well... and one strut. I got one at 11m (Breeze V2) and very happy with it. Thinking of getting a 4m my self, right now Bandit 6m is my smallest... Hello did you buy the 4m? any feedback on windrange. thanks a lot Hi! not yet. our waters are still frozen...

Re: F-one Breeze v1 vs v2 for beginner

I got the Breeze V2 11m and very happy with it.
For 80kg and low wind conditions, I would go for the 13m.

I have a Naish Hover 112, I like it a lot.
Also have ordered a second pocket board from Fone.

Re: Does board volume still matter for water starts?

IMO.
low wind and/or low skill level= more volume board
high (sufficient) wind and/or higher skill level= less volume board
with the introduction of larger foil wings the above "rules" are not clear cut, but generally this is what I go by...

cheers
