Re: fs mixer test sonic

I think that's not too bad for a big kite like yours. If A lines get longer (others shrink) it decreases (or distorts) the camber of airfoil and makes AoA of a kite bigger. And that is what happens when speedsystem lines shrink by rolling through the pulleys. Resulting kite becomes slow, upwind perf...

Re: Ozone speed system adjustment

It is unfortunate if there is no easy way to make adjustments. In FS kites there is and there is also short "fuse" lines, which not only protect canopy but make it easy to untie lines from kite if needed. You could first try to stretch too short pulley lines. If this doesn't work untie bridle lines ...

Re: DIY vacuum pump

KiterDon, no way vac pump can draw too much of a vacuum for pressing. Real glueing presses use much stronger forces, equal of many atmosphere pressures. But usually atm pressure is enough and it dont even need to be perfect vacuum. Frigde pump is actually more than enough, I tested one and it drew o...

Re: F-One Diablo Bridal??

Diablo bridal looks good, many levels and therefore relatively small amount lines in total. Changing camber in speedsystem is due to designed A, B and C line locations along profile. Combined to fixed pulling relations camber increases when sheeting in. Brakelines are pulled straight, C lines 1:2 an...

Re: Home Made Foil Kite

Well done. I have too used MH91 profile, my question is: how did you modified it? I can see your kite is not stable (required quite a lot tuning). I know too well those high-AR kite problems  ... Fortunately foilkites have a bridle you can adjust and get over some unstability problems. It's ho...
