Re: Shorter fuselage or smaller stab?

I finally received the shorter fuselage from Ketos. I tried first the combination with the 1200cm2 wing and Karver stab. This makes the maneuverability even more then with the combination standard fuselage/ XS2. Yesterday I tried the short fuselage in combination with the XS2. With this combination ...

Re: Shorter board is less playful...!

I went from a Groove Skate (carbon) 120 cm to a Groove Wave (carbon) 123 cm. Mastpostion exactly the same. Both boards have a lot of scoop. But the Wave is much more dynamic then the Skate. With the skate, I considered buying a smaller board. Now that I have the Wave, this is a thing of the past I c...

Re: Large wings for foiling

@Peter. Is it not how smaller the stab or the fuselage is, the faster the turn? I can turn so fast with my 1200cm2 wing and XS stab. Much faster and shorter then my friend on a Onda, who is much better foiler then I am.

Re: Large wings for foiling

For lightwind, Ketos have made a special wing which is a little smaller then their biggest wing of 1200cm2. Great stability and an incomparable upwind.

Re: kites for foiling

Lots of good single struts on the market now. I have an Airush Ultra 12m and a 9m Naish Boxer. The advantages are that it will stay in the air with much less wind if you loop it and keep it moving probably you can keep it up in 3 or 4 knots. I can ride in 6 knots with the Moses 633 and some foil pu...

Re: Airush Ultra vs Cloud for Foiling?

Recommend you try an Aluula kite, OR Roam or Flite, or whatever other kite co's come along with it before deciding. BTW I love my quiver of smaller Cloud E's, for medium and stronger winds they are great. But when it's really light air on a foil, Aluula is tops IMO. Why do you think the Aluula kite...

Re: kites for foiling

OK, very clear. so actually, given the fact I'd like to twintip starting from 18knots, I'd be better off purchasing a 10m2 Airush ultra or mono for the 9-10 knots days on 24-27m lines? a 9m airush ultra would be just from 10 knots given the fact that I'm looking more for low wind, I'm afraid the pe...

Re: Gong v3 vs cloud E

There is very good YT video called “cloud vs gong strutless”, helped me to decide should I go for the gong. Totally different kites, only similarity are no struts and white color. Check the vidieo, I’m on my phone so can’t post here. This one? Handled the old versions. https://www.youtube.com/watch...

Re: Moses 633 vs Armstrong review

Thanks Texasrider for the review. How do the stabs compare in size? Untill now I rode Ketos 1200 wing and changed to the smallest satb available. It dramatically changed the behaviour of the foil make much tider turns and much more playfull. With a bigger stab (karver) the foil is much more stable....
