Re: Wanted - Carver wing a Zeeko foil

The Blue&White is the first Alloy one with the Alloy wings. The Black&White was the G10 version of that.
The next White&Blue had the anhedral wing.

Re: Wanted - Carver wing a Zeeko foil

We have seagrass here in summer and it’s a pain.
But my Std wings on Spitfire seems to take maybe 5-6 strands before you feel a vibration. Any more and it slowly just sinks.
The XXLW starts to vibrate and wobble then you get dragged to a halt. There’s always about three handfuls to clear off.

Re: (almost) tool-less foil setups

Bolts only need tightening too a stretch range where the bolt have some stretch within its range of elasticity.

Over tightening just kills the elasticity and promotes both failure and loosening.

Re: Zeeko Bullet 2018

The Bullet is fast and without loss of control. My ride with it’s Freeride wing showed it to be as easy as green&white but less restriction to how fast you wanted to go. A slightly more agile feeling initiating turns. Never topped out it’s speed in my ride but keeping up with Slalom windsurfing boar...

Re: Wanted - Carver wing a Zeeko foil

There is a lot of skill gain to be had by learning on the faster Freeride wings. Skills that are somewhat lost on the bigger surf wings. But skills that are valuable in your overall progression. One is speed control and being confident to roll into a carve at speed and complete a gybe at speed. Well...

Re: A Flock of eFoils

I think the tourist market might be kicking in
Like Segways
But as for price. Think what a motocrosser puts out to fund their sport and they only get about an hour of running between fuel stops.
Personally I’d be the sod that kept going out too far and run out of battery

Re: Anyone here windsurf foil?

I see where PF is coming from and also some others. But going from zero windsurfing experience to windfoil is overall a significant commitment in time and resources. But I believe, well worth it. For those chasing light wind Windfoiling, if that’s your goal and how you like your fun, then go for it....

Re: Anyone here windsurf foil?

I agree with above. It is a significant level of ability at windsurfing that you have to get to before adding the foil. As with Sup and prone.

Re: Anyone here windsurf foil?

I Windfoil and kitefoil and can prone and Sup foil all on the one foil.
The XXLW Spitfire
For Windfoil it’s more a centre line upright stance which is more carve turn feel rather than blasting across the lake
