2" is plenty thick. just look up youtube for glassing surfboards.
but add some stuff for stiffness and strength.
doesnt have to be awesome finish just practical as a test piece.

The front wing is curved on top the rear wing is opposite.
The anti yaw fin in on underside.

I used both the 2015 and 2016. But I'm still a beginner just about to start turns. Anyway to me they feel the same. But there is a noticeable step up in attention to detail and the G10 wings are lighter. On water you don't notice the weight difference but maybe an expert might. They can best be desc...

at low end of ranges there is a big ease of use difference between a dry and wet kite.
I'm sure the water on a wet kite is not much but the weight difference means trying for those extra few grams could be worth it.
At 2.4kg the Notus Air 8m seems to be ok but we need some comparisons.

Where we are winds get very gusty and sloppy under say 11-12kts.
At around 14-15 kts I'm using a 9m Krush for foiling.
So am I right in thinking a 8m Notus Air is a good choice. As I'm not bothering going out below 11kts.
