Last one 107x42 cm was 1685 g without pad. So maybe 1500 g is posible.
Wow, thats light! Just measured the 10.5” finbox. Plastic alone is 107 gr., thats 214 gr. plus Epoxy/filler. I take it you’re not using tracks.

Re: Pocket board building

In the process of gathering supplies and planning for a proper carbon build. Done one vaccum process board which turned out so so - good learning experience. Two questions for you experienced vaccum process builders out there: 1. Whats the general concensus about pump pressure using closed cell pvc...

Re: most durable 2mm gloves

They don’t say the thickness but having used 3mm I’d say 2mm. https://www.powerkiteshop.com/prolimit-pro-limit-kiteboarding-polar-2-layer-gloves.htm Coming on a full year of heavy use, starting to leak but still pretty warm. Just came back from a session in 5 C˚ and 6mm hooded suit. Not cold at all....

Re: Rescuing A Loose Kite At Sea ...

Done it twice. Mind you I’ve only got one forearm, right one missing below elbow. Consider myself compitent though after 15 years of kitesurfing. Boards are easy, tumb in the handle and gentle on controls. Kites, a different ballgame. I approach from upwind after watching what the kite is doing and ...

Re: How does the safety system work on this Flexifoil bar?

Had a Flexi kite once that was the same although without that strange ring on the chickenloop. You're right about the leash attachment. It's a mini 5th which doesn't flag the kite completely but pulls equally on both frontlines - kite flattens out in water (depowers). The strange thing about this sa...

Re: Anniversary: 10 years speed record

What if a kiter would be doing the same. Downwards pulling hydrofoil - flying anchor.
Although a release would make some extreme boost!

(I'm not going to be the first to try it! Just trying to think outside the box :) ).

Re: Kite fatality in Thailand

Condolences to family and friends. This one hit close to home, first news said Icelandic - than later on Irelandic. Our very small community made me start counting, only two abroad. Still very sad news. About the knives issue. BUNGEE CHORD, that's what I use. Mind you I'm not your usual kiter. I'm m...

Re: Costa Rica - Kitehouse or Blue Dream

+1 for Blue Dream/Nicola and his crew. Had a great time two years ago in January. Very friendly and good vibe. Good food at Blue Dream and Ulfs outdoor Grill Restaurant was really good. The wind is hard core, brought my 6,7 and 10. Would have even wanted my 5m Storm kite. It was a bit like our low p...
