Brilliant idea. Now the only thing is to work out a one handed quick release system for when the wind picks up. Then do a transition jump just over the beach to release the 'extra board' onto the beach. (Would only work here in Iceland though, people arent exacly on the beach here, therefore I have ...

Thanks for the tips guys. Confirms what I already suspected. Since I am the only one on this island that seems to keep track of the new stuff I think I'll have to buy myself a Speed, Crossbow and a PL Venom to try out. There isn't a single one of those here for me to have a go at. All good kites fro...

I'm not starting a LEI vs. foil debate so keep it civilised. Anyway the designs are all getting mixed up; LEI with bridles (xbow), foils without bridles (PL arcs), etc.

I aggree with ntks. I have a 15m Strike 1. It's great for jumping, keep it fully sheeted out so it flies faster when sending it back and be patient.

Been trying to figure this out (aswell as kitesurfing). Made these three boards. First try was too thick and heavy (two sheets of ply), too much rocker and too long. Next two made at the same time from a single sheet of ply after reading it's the width that matters, not the length. Reason for the st...

Can we please stop comparing lack of swimming skills to disability. I'm missing an arm just below elbow. I kitesurf, snowkite and landkite. I've been to 4 paralympics competing in swimming and track (been on the abled bodies national relay-team aswell). I'm also a PE teacher and a former life...
