Re: Another Beginner Advise Needed

Have your lessons before buying a board, you'll probably be able to try a few different ones. Only then decide which size you prefer. Totally would however the funding is coming from a bonus at work and if I don’t spend it now won’t be here by the time I’m able to take lessons. Curious mainly as to...

Re: Are Carbon Bars worth the extra price?

Lots of bars can be stripped down and reconfigured to be very light and simple... on the cheap. I have a few bws bars where the CL unit was like a hunk of lead! The bar itself though is really light. Stripped down and rigged as a trim less BRM type set up they are soooo great. Find any light bar an...

Re: Reedin Dreamstick - smart bar, very poor color choice

I was aware of the below three types of colour blindness when I recommended RED on the left and BLUE or BLACK on the right. Color coding works. I know there are those who don’t think so, but for the rest of us, we want it. If you don’t use it, it doesn’t hurt you. Here are some color blind charts. S...

Re: Reedin Dreamstick - smart bar, very poor color choice

It’s just a matter of knowing your gear. Red white green yellow or pink it does not mather at all people need to know how their gear works and learn safety disciplines It does matter among others to those who have two or more different bars, to those switching from an old bar to a new one, and to t...

Re: Reedin Dreamstick - smart bar, very poor color choice

There are several types of colour blindness, and about 5% of the population is colour blind in some way. For those with colour blindness, BLUE has one of the best colour differentiations with most other colours, including RED.

Re: Introducing the World's Lightest and Strongest Kites - Aluula

Agreed but I think this strategy will backfire on them. How about a 25% premium for the new Aluula kites? you make it sound like the price of a kite is completely arbitrary. why not just sell it for $5.00! i suspect if they charged only a 25% premium, they'd lose money on each kite, or not make eno...

Re: Introducing the World's Lightest and Strongest Kites - Aluula

still no reviews anywhere on a 12M aluula. i'm surprised none have been made available since it seems this is where people would really be most interested in spending the extra money. since all 12M's suck out there right now, and most 10m's are pretty good, i just don't get why the focus is on the ...
