Re: Upgrading bridal 2009 Cabrinha X-Bow 12m

Probably easier to replace the kite man, those kites are so over-engineered it would be a nightmare trying to do any kind of improvements on it, imo.

Re: This is unfair from Seabreeze.com.au

I think Switch shot themselves in the foot when their team program required X number of forum posts per month, and anyone could sign up for it. Basically made any kind of positive post about Switch immediately suspicious that it was just native advertising . But having a personal vendetta against a ...

Re: Getting back in the game

Welcome back, my old details are lost too. I've just spent a year in the mountains and am looking forward to getting back on the water.

How do you like that misfit? I am looking for a new freeride twintip when I don't want to ride boots.

Re: What is your strongest wind setup?

This one is like the ultra low end discussions. Remember the windiest session I've ridden. 6m C kite and surfboard. Hop on the board in the shallows, don't get more than about 100M when I get gently lofted a few feet. The board gets ripped off the water and cartwheels about 150m and smacks into a f...

Re: What is your strongest wind setup?

I ride the same board in all wind conditions, I only change it depending on the water conditions. If there's big waves I don't like riding boots so I will bring out the strap board. If the waves are clean enough (rare) I will ride my surfboard.

Re: Portable Pressurized Beach Shower - (RinseKit Review)

Just do what this guy is doing. You don't ever have to worry about losing pressure. I bet if you found one with a black container and let it sit out in the sun it will probably automaticly heat up the water Just make sure you empty and clean it out first  You can also use small amounts baby po...

Re: 12 m2 for foil and boosting

It's important to remember not everyone has the same conditions, 8 knots at my local spot (super humid hot air) any of the 12m kites I've flown will barely fly because the wind just has no power at all. It takes about 10 knots before the kite really flies properly, about 12 before even thinking abou...
