Re: Northeast US (CT) - Winter Wetsuit Recommendations

one more from north. It can be nice and warm to wear wetsuit in cold time in water. BUT to change back to normal clothes when air temperature is low in strong winds and you are wet after the session- PITA, I got drysuit for that reason. Some smart people have vans and they do not care , ride in wets...

Re: Fuerteventura - Accommodation advice needed!

Corralejo is quite small, everything is walking distance, depends on your kids age of course. When i stay in Corralejoit does not really matter where, because if rent a car- I normaly drive to Flag beach.

Re: Core kites and kiteboarding industry sales this year

Back in 2004 I have sewn my first kite in 8.5m size. I did not expected that it will take so much work. Materials are nothing compared to hours I have spent. Fisrts you have to cut fabrics right, then sew them together. Undo thread and sew again :) It took 2 months of work, probably 150 hours. After...

Re: Wind range and gusts - beginner question

I have mostly progressed when riding overpowered. Better upwind, better jumps, just do not ride too fast. Normal gusts are not that bad as in forecasts, I have experienced gusts lot depend on surrounding- if wind is clean from the water side or there trees, hills, building nearby. You can find a spo...

Re: Trouble finding board after crash

I can bodydrag fine, it's just so difficult to find TT in waves. After loosing board and looking for it for hours next day I got Go-Joe. All problems are gone. Only thing to remember- inflate it before session. Also possible to make home made solution, Probably could work fine as well with inflatabl...

Re: Switch Lineup

Im 100kg with wet gear and I ride a TT 140x42, got the H3 16, had the H2 15.5 before. I can use the H3 down to around 10kn, not feeling any lag of power. :D thanks for advice. I am an owner of 16m H3 now :) Feels very light weight, well made. Turns fast, almost comparable to my 2015 Nobile T5 12m. ...

Re: Question about boots & progressing

maybe you are not bending your back leg? Also maybe too much edging in straight position- would just kill power and you plow water instead of going upwind. Twist you hips forward? If you have hard time to edge- you can move pads 1 position lower to the edge- like light wind boards- will be easier to...
