Re: 2020 Naish Torch

I haven’t unhooked for a while but if it’s light wind freeride or freestyle performance you’re after then try and demo a 2020 or S25 Boxer in the larger sizes (14m+).

Cheers

Re: Firewire Hydroshort kite version

Do any Hydroshort riders have any opinions or thoughts on riding the surf ‘non-kite’ version in the Helium construction? I’ve always purchased the Kite construction with my LFT boards as I felt Standard LFT were more prone to breaking under kite loads. The Helium boards seem much more solid so wonde...

Re: Naish 2021

Ive only flown my 12m so far ! Im in love with not ! Ive been on the Slash for the past 4 years and love them but I think Im sticking to the pivots this year and the Boxers for foiling and as my ultra light wind surf kite. I couldn't get the LE version so I got the blue and orange colors. I get a l...

Got the slash S25 delivered 2 hours ago.
Tomorrow 30 knots of wind in the forecast!!!
Well done xanpet!
Nothing like a fresh new kite to motivate.
Would appreciate a review of your new 7m Slash if you can spare the time.

Cheers.

Re: Firewire Hydroshort kite version

I’ve been on an LFT 5.1 Vader for the past 4 years but now want something closer to a traditional shape. I’m not much into the freestyle anymore where the Vader excelled. Seems a Hydroshort 5.4 may be a good all-round option for 2ft wind generated, short period waves up to head high, cross-shore stu...

Re: Naish Boxer 11m steering line length ?

We have a new S25 Naish Boxer 11m. The steering lines seem loose/ long. I know it's supposed to give light bar pressure, but in the lighter winds, it's like no bar pressure, zero. I wonder if the steering lines are too long. I don't think it's our bar either. Would anyone have a newish S25 11m that...

Re: Lift 200 for kiting

I ended up getting the 170 Classic as well based on feedback in this forum. So happy with it and ride it on a 100cm pocket board. It’s got brilliant low end lift and doesn’t seem to sacrifice much at the top end considering the wing area. Only draw back for me is the turning radius. I wish at times ...

Re: 2019 Naish Boxer Feedback ?

Recently got a 19/20 Boxer 5m and had it out for the first time in what I hoped would be perfect 18-20 knots. Unfortunately the wind didn’t come in as expected but I went out anyway to test the lower limits. Don’t think anyone on the beach had much hope for me as others were out on 8-12m kites. The ...

Re: Doutone WAM 2020 5.8" question

I think smaller fins would suit your weight and make the board feel looser. The Small size should be fine. If riding larger waves though your medium fins would provide more hold. I have observed that most strapped boards have the rear strap placed too far forward on the board. This position suits ri...
