Re: Low end Naish boxer 10m paired with a Moses Onda

I ride a Naish Boxer 10m 19/20 in winds of 9-14 knots. I cannot comment on the Moses but as I understand it, the 633 wing is around the 1200cm2 mark. I’m on an 1100cm2 wing and can get up on foil at 9 knots. I weigh 85kgs. I’ve ridden through wind lulls of around 8 knots. I’d struggle to water start...

Re: Naish Boxer 10m 19/20

Regarding my earlier comments on the slow-ish turning speed of my 10m Boxer, I have recently shorted my flying lines on my Naish Torque Bar by one knot. This has resulted in a more reactive kite and quicker turning speed. I would highly recommend doing this for all size boxers (on the Naish bar) for...

Re: Naish Boxer 10m 19/20

One more thing: you write that a 9m2 3 strut wave kite is faster turning than a 10m2 1-strut kite? Maybe I could also stick with my 9m2 3-strut freeride kite for both waves and foiling, and just go for a single 1-strut kite for light wind foiling.. Hi Mikkelza, Regarding my comments on how my 3-str...

Re: Lift surf series wing sets

Thanks for the thorough review Jumptheshark. I have almost identical thoughts on the Lift 170 Classic I purchased new recently with the 36” mast. I considered the Surf Wing but decided on the Classic due to the simplicity of two bolts attachment and a more kite friendly (thinner) foil profile. I hav...

Re: Introducing the new Naish Boxer

Hate to state the obvious.... but why are you wasting your time reading and responding to a thread specifically about Naish kites if you feel so negatively about them?

Logic would suggest demo one .... and then comment.

It’s a ‘pants before shoes’ type of thing.

Re: Introducing the new Naish Boxer

Thanks for the sound advice gents. Agreed the Slash is a brilliant all-rounder but can be feisty with a big wing above 20kts. To Peters point, I'm not jumping but like strapless freeriding wind chop. I feel comfortable being slightly overpowered. I guess a local issue for me is that when foiling win...

Re: Introducing the new Naish Boxer

Hi Boxer fans, I’m running a 10m 2020 Boxer and a 7m 2019 Slash. Love this combo. 7m is my go-to surf kite and for foiling from 14knots + and the Boxer is for foiling from 10knots. I’m looking at getting smaller boxer for foiling from 20-30knots as my Slash is well cooked between these ranges. Shoul...

Re: Lift 200 for kiting

Thanks Jumptheshark. Just trying to determine if the tax and shipping costs are viable to the east coast of Oz.
Have never ridden a Lift foil but the shape looks efficient and well designed.
A mate has the 150 and swears by it.

Re: Traveling with Lift 170

Does Lifts new Surf modular wings have an extra screw to fix the tail wings or does it pick up on the mast attach screw instead?

I really don’t want to deal with any extra hardware on my foil kits.
