Re: Off Topic - America's Cup Sailing - Foiled Monohulls

is it intentional that the foils don't bring the boat right out the water but provide some lift?

I use a waterproof MP3 player, depends on your style but I enjoy switching off and listening to music doing some long runs

Re: Off Topic - America's Cup Sailing - Foiled Monohulls

interesting as a cat is always quicker than a mono hull without a foil, does a foil remove the advantage?

Re: Flysurfer soul 12m help

I had a similar problem a while back, after hours of getting no where I sent it to a paraglider repair outfit and they sorted it for me for £60. It made for an expensive session but got it sorted. It's my first foil kite and I tried pulling the loops etc but couldn't get it any better at all. Much l...

Re: Ageing foil kites

I haven't had any problems with it at all and it still flies great and holds air really well. It is my first foil kite so I am not sure if it makes a great difference once the material loses its crinkle or if you can still get years from it at this point?

I can just about fit all my kit except the board in a 70 litre rucksack but its pretty heavy! I then have a board carrier that I use for surfing w...

Re: Moses 637 Review

Hi joe, good review, thanks. Yeah its interesting after spending a year or so on bigger wings trying to get the hang of gybing etc I am keen to get back on a smaller wing and just enjoy long legs up and down on a stable cruisy wing. The joy of the foil for me has always been putting on some music an...
