Hi all, looking to make some line extensions, I have seen that there are various ways to do this by splicing the lines. However if you have some sleeving is it as simple as sleeving the end of the line and burning the tip and then tying in a figure of 8 or a loop accordingly and thats all?! many tha...

sorry for the delay! Yeah I just used a small amount of resin as, like your scratches, they weren't that deep. Then put cling film over it, mould it as best you can through the cling film to the shape of the leading edge then expose to the sun if you are using solarez. Sand lightly, if you get too c...

thanks for the really helpful contributions to my last post. I am still some way off gybing or tacking so drop in the water to turn around, when its really light there is obviously a danger that you lose the kite at this point. i used solarez epoxy and cling film and was impressed with the results, very little sanding required

Hi all, I am after some advice on keeping the kite in air in light winds as you wade out to sea and get in position.
