turning circle and wing size

hi folks, just wondering is the ability to make a tighter turn influenced by wing size? I currently have an f1 mirage 1000cm wind and i am struggling to get it to turn tight enough to keep line tension going to toe, is it a case of trying to drive harder like you would a sb or 'twist' harder from th...

Re: flysurfer soul long mixer test

Hi Jakemoore,

many thanks for the reply, if I adjust to keep the bridles the same length for the long mixer then will the short mixer then be out, if so which is more important?!

thanks!

flysurfer soul long mixer test

Hi folks,

so I have, with a degree of trepidation, attempted to carry out a long mixer test matching up the black marks on the soul bridle.

A is currently about 4cm longer than Z, B & C.

I can't see a way to shorten A, any ideas?

Thanks

Re: sea anchor!

Next question, should you rinse the inside with fresh water afterwards?

Thanks

sea anchor!

Hi all, so I dropped my 12m soul into the water for the 1st times yesterday, wind dropped to zero, no chance of a relaunch. Thankfully I wasn't too far out and the kite was floating nicely part on its leading edge and then kinda wrapped over itself so I thought I would swim in and let it bob along b...

the art of the loop!

so I occasionaly hear people talking about using a loop to get them going when underpowered or continously looping to get in if the breeze dies. However my attempts at looping seem to generate little or no power and far less than a top to bottom dive. One thought is I am looping too tight, should th...

Re: Air gibes in marginal winds

is it safe to say you turn the kite hard in the other direction then start to turn once it is pulling you back the other way? Thanks for the video too.

Re: Hydrofoil too big?

about 6 weeks into my learning I used to say that if in some bizzare alternate universe I had invented my hydrofoil at the 6 week point I would have binned as being something that was never going to work,it just seemed impossible! It was only the knowledge that I knew thousands of people were making...
