Re: Foils that fit the Nobile Split board pattern

Thanks Evan. Can I get a Zeeko? I want to pull the trigger and I'm debating a carbon Zeeko or Levitaz.

Foils that fit the Nobile Split board pattern

I've been searching forever and the information is very limited and frustrating. The Nobile pattern is 165mm x 90mm. Do the internet a favor and chime in if you know the dimensions of your mast. Liquid Force - NO (Why I'm looking for a new foil) Zeeko - Aluminum yes Moses - Yes Levitaz - yes Spotz T...

Any benefit to weight in the foil

I'm hoping those with a lot of experience can chime in here. Do you sacrifice anything when purchasing a very light mast and foil (forget about the board)? I ask because of my experience related to skiing and I'm ready to drop relatively big dollars on my next foil. I'm a long time backcountry skier...

dimensions of liquid force mast plate

Hi: I'm curious if anyone can physically measure the dimensions? I've heard it theorized that it's not the same as the general standard 90mm by 165mm. I've confirmed it is 90mm but don't know about the 165mm. I'm looking to mount it on a Nobile split foil board. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Any recommendations on kiting sunglasses?

I've used the Kurtis for a couple of years. Honestly, I don't like their look but they are super comfortable, stay in place, and float really well if they come off. They also fit really well under a helmet or over a neoprene hood for winter kiting. I'm also terrible about abusing my gear and they ar...

Re: Honest review of BRM Cloud kites

This is a silly post. How can this possibly be an honest review of the Cloud if you are using it with twintips??? Clouds are meant for hydrofoiling. It's like reviewing a 4x4 offroad jeep on a perfectly level granite road. What's the point? I own and swear by Clouds but would not use them for twint...

Re: Honest review of BRM Cloud kites

Good questions I should have included. I'm 170 pounds with a wetsuit and board short harness (for me, the no chicken loop thing is a big plus in this system). I'm probably closer to 180 pounds with the Ion drysuit (wetsuit material) and a Dakine seat harness. I ride what I think is a North Xride. It...

Honest review of BRM Cloud kites

Greetings: Perhaps my nearly 2 years experience flying clouds can be helpful to others. I see a lot of comments about the kites, many of which do not jive with my experience. I make no bro brah claims about my abilities. I'm a solid intermediate that mostly rides twin tips. I found the BRM website a...

Re: Holbox Mexico

Btw, bring plenty of cash preferably pesos in denominations of 20, 50 and 100. Part of the remote charm of the island includes ATM's that rarely work or don't have cash. Few establishments take credit cards so don't plan on using them. If you fly into Cancun use the ATM at the airport and convert th...
