Re: How much wind can a single strut handle

I have 3 single stuts 2 Ultras and one Boxer but when the wind starts cranking I find the the weight advantage of losing 2 struts is far outweighed by the benefit of extra stability and wind range that you get with them. For very light wind on a foil it's a big advantage it helps keep the kite in th...

Re: Single strut kite comparison

I have owned 3 different ones. The Liquid Force Solo was a big disappointment mainly because of the weight it was heavier than many 3 strut kites. I sold it right away. There was a lot of flapping on it too but it was decent for jumping and powerful. Not very good for foiling it would Hindenburg lik...

Re: Board Recommendation

I was almost the same weight as you last year and I am also from Canada. My regular board is an Axis Limited 138x42.5 and my light wind board is an Axis Ultra 148x47 I lost a whole lot of weight this year but I am holding on to those boards because they are amazing. I could go smaller now but they a...

Re: Groove Skate "Creaking"

I have been riding the Groove Sake L with with various foils all summer no creaking for me. I love the board with the 633 it's a match made in heaven!

Re: Next foil - Armstrong 1200 or Moses 633

I haven't tried the Armstrong but I have the 633 it does everything smoothly you can't go wrong it's probably the most popular carbon foil on the market for a good reason!

Re: Pansh Aurora 3

I also ordered a 15M since they had a crazy deal on that size and that's going to be a good size for foiling and winter kiting. I will post a review when I get it. It's on it's way now.

Re: Choosing kite quiver while losing weight

I went from 105 to 80kg in the last year. I noticed a big difference but I am holding on to the same quiver I just rig smaller. I used to be able to ride a 12M in gust of 25 knots (gusty punchy cold wind from Canada) Now I would be able to ride a 9M no problems in this wind. At the same time I made ...

Re: Unboxing: Moses Aluminium Foil Kit

I think they do it on purpose they don't want to hurt the sales of their high end carbon foil so they restrict people to 75cm on the Alu version. After foiling for a few years I find that 90cm is perfect for me. So I bought the 633 wing made my own fuselage mounted it to one of my 90cm mast and it's...
