Re: North Orbit - iksurfmag less than glowing review

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TB7-nscnOY Kite underinflated and obviously the rider is an incompetent beginner (or worse) Is it a coincidence that it's the same kite that was mini deathlooped and hot launched in the other video? I think not... I agree looks like this guy doesn't know what he is ...

Re: Hydrofoil Fuselage Corrosion and a Sacrificial Anode

The anode would work it's been used on boats for a long time. However you would need a nice spot to bolt it on like they did on this Alpine foil otherwise you will have a lot of extra drag.

Re: where to buy figure 8 safety leash rings

I have ordered things from Switch a few times they don't charge you shipping for each item if you have multiple items they will charge you a small shipping charge for the lot. When I ordered 3 chicken loops and 3 rings and a few other things it was like 20$ for the whole lot. But that was a while ago.

If you willing to consider a a seat the Dakine Fusion has strap to prevent the hook from going up and it's super comfortable the XL would fit you like a glove.

Re: kite for 7-12 knots?

None of the LEIs will deep water relaunch in 8kts.. This is obviously not true. Most one strut kites will easily relaunch in 8kn in deep water with the right technique. Yes absolutely that's definitively the case for the Airush Ultra, Liquid Force Solo I have not tested the others but I'm sure they...

Re: kite for 7-12 knots?

I use an Airush Ultra 12m for this kind of wind flawless kite for foiling. Last year I was using mostly the 15M but I lost a lot of weight so now the 12M is plenty big. I can make a 9M work starting around 10knots. I am 80kg now!

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

That material looks kind of plasticky... I wonder if it's breathes like dacron if the water/moisture between the bladder and strut can't dry that may be an issue. Maybe they found a solution....
