Re: Pocket foilboard divynicell 80 core Ghetto build tips?

What production board is that? My board is for sure overbuilt with the heavy carbon and dense foam. But I don't worry about it being damaged and sucking water or overheating and delam. With 19oz carbon and 50% resin in laminate plus core weight it is as light as it can be. Probably carbon 11oz would...

Re: Pocket foilboard divynicell 80 core Ghetto build tips?

You can just bend it after you layup one side. Put plastic on the lam and weigh it down till it cures. Overbend a bit as it won't keep all the bend. Repeat for other side. You can make a good board this way for sure. After both sides lamed do a thick fill with epoxy and microballons which you will s...

Re: Core just released: XR6 and XR6 LW

Just weighed my fresh xr6 quiver.
2.65, 3.13, 3.64, 4.15kg for 6/8/10/12

I don't have the xr5 weights.

Re: Do Kite Bags Suck?

Core bags are really good. Plastic zips never broke one and nice protection to not pinch your kite when zipping. Pump and bar holder work well when backpacking. Kinda heavy at 1kg but bomb proof.

Re: Naish Dash 9m (1st edition) does NOT fly

Ask Naish what the proper distance is for the back line knot from the kite. Maybe someone else has the same kite you can compare. Seems like its just the rear line knot is too far from kite.

Re: Kite quiver

24m bar only would be my suggestion or 20 with extensions gives more options but that can get get counter productive as the timing changes a lot.

Keeping your kites same model especially in a minimum quiver is the way to for for TT riding.

Re: Kite quiver

I would keep the 12m pivot and get a 9 pivot and sell the rest. The pivots have great range. You could add a door board for the really light days instead of getting a huge kite.

What is the weight on those? Sure looks like a nice design.
