Re: Cabrinha's surf boards

I'm to buy a Cabrinha surf board to ride in light wind with a Speed 3 dlx 21m and later on wind season have fun on small waves. I'd like a better description of each board qualities, your personal experience. What's the difference between Skillit, S-Quad and Trigger? Which one is Cabrinha's best? W...

Re: Jupiter Kiteboarding Invasion January, 27-29

It's going to be a great event!

By the way....it's the longest running event in the U.S.

9 years and counting!

Re: Which Cabrinha 2012 Kite for unhooked strapless waveridi

Hi Have anybody tested all the Cabrinha 2012 Kites? I'm keen to know which one is the best for unhooked strapless waveriding. Thanks a lot. Cheers Boris Hey Boris, We certainly have a lot of options this year from Cabrinha. Personally, I love the Drifter, but I am also really enjoying my 7m Vector....

Re: Cabrinha Drifter....a few questions

Jon, You mention that you were thinking about possibly adding a 7m or 5m Vector in your quiver. What flying and handling characteristics would make you choose the Vector over the Drifter for the high winds? In your opinion what makes the Vector stand out this year as a kite which would be used by a...

Re: Cabrinha Drifter....a few questions

Jon, Is most of your riding now focused on strapless wave riding or are you mixing it up with some hooked/unhooked freestyle? Just wondering if you can see the Drifter working more than just waves ie hooked and unhooked freeride/freestyle? What characteristics did you prefer with the Drifter over t...

Re: Cabrinha Drifter....a few questions

CabDriver....I am hoping you or someone else can answer these questions..... What is the line length that comes with the IDS Control bar for the Drifter? Are all lines the same length on the IDS bar? And if so, could you use any 4 line bar with lines set up at equal length? Are the bladder adhesive...

Re: Cabrinha Skillit 2011 - Any reviews yet?

Hi, I am looking for a board to have fun with in small to medium surf and was looking at the 5.6 skillet. Has anyone tried it yet? if so what are your thoughts? Cheers Paul :P Paul, Most who know me would not question my objectivity, but I am a team rider so my only recommendation is to demo one! I...

Re: Why some kiters lie about wave size ???

Have surfing/windsurfing and now kite/surfing waves out here, yesterday was windy gusting to 25kts. perhaps and surf was no more than 6 to 8 feet on some sets. Come home and from kiters that were riding the foam at the shoreline are posting that they were on 14' waves  I don't mean to be picky...

Re: Cab Custom 144cm- too big for raileys?

Got some advice on board size, but .... it ain't working out. I just can't seem to get the pop for doing big clean raileys with this board. I like the Custom fo...
