Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

Does anyone recall how Flysurfer retroactively updated specs of Speed4 after releasing Speed5 so the new model appeared better (in comparison)? Havent heard of it. I know the size 8m and 6m came later and had somewhat different aspect ratio if I remember right. But whats that about? Looking into it...

Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

The only thing that sounds strange is the wind range: Sonic 2 11 declared 9-32, Sonic 3 11 declared 7-23. Sonic 2 13 declared 8-27, Sonic 3 13 declared 6-20. Is the Sonic 3 declared wind range relative to HF only? In the FAQ, "Why there is no smaller Sonic?" this is the answer: "Due to safety, we s...

Re: First impression of Gong M Pro

Hi I dont know if this was already mentioned but how slow can you go with the gong m pro Wing? And would you think that the L pro wing would help to go slower? It would probably have a better lowend. I already have Moses 101mast with 590 + 558. For fast rides. Then the gong pro m would complemenet m...

Re: Ozone Alpha 10 and 12 difference?

Hi I've tried both 12m and 8m alpha with twintip in its "higher"(for me) windrange. 12m in about 14 knots to 16 knots. And 8m in around 25 knots gusty wind. Well 12m is a fantastic kite, it handles smoth. But the 8m did not handle very well (in high wind). The One strut design flutters, and did not ...

Global kitefoil speed leaderboard?

Hi all foilers! Is there an existing speed leaderboard similar to Woo but for kitefoil racers? like showing top speed, then best 100m/500m/1000m etc. Now that kitefoil is growing all around the globe it would be interesting to compare with the locals/country's best/ global! It would be great if ther...

Re: Ragnarok 2020?

I dont know if it is arranged? I hope so. I was there 2017, thinking about going again. the entrance fee was around 60 euro 2017, and then the entry fee last year was around 550 euro. So im thinking twice before going, I mean I could go there and go kiting for a week with friends for 500 euro. inste...

Re: Unpredictable foil injury

A little followup. The knee specialist said it will heal in 3 weeks (6weeks from the fall) The ligament on the inside was slightly swollen with a bleeding inside. Grade 1 knee injury (not very serious). The meniscus and ACL was all good. But would probably have had damage if the twist would've been ...

Re: Unpredictable foil injury

As i remember the crash my foot was never caught in the strap, if it was then just very little. I think that the same would have happened if I was ridning strapless. And its probably safer to ride strapless in general. So to not correct when out of balance is maybe the best mindset here. Now my goal...
