repairing broken ribs inside speed4 lotus kite.

Hi Time to time I see a new broken strap hanging loose inside my speed4 lotus 12m while flying it. I have been sewing them together with an extra piece of deluxe cloth folded double and with some extra seams to make it really strong. Ive done that about 6 times. Apart from these narrow straps rippin...

Re: Sonic2 vs. R1V2 vs. Speed5...

No love for the Sonic 2? I've flown only the 18m but in both 1 and 2. The 2 is more stable and an excellent foil kite, but I prefer the 1 for light wind TT riding. 2 is a little soft, less aggressive and as it's lighter stays in the air with slack lines better. After the Sonic, the Speed 5 felt a b...

Re: Chrono / Sonic 15 or 18 for light wind and a Twin Tip ?

Hello All, I am looking for a light wind kite to kite with a Twin tip in the 8/14 know range. I use a 136 / 42 twin tip and i am around 72kg. I am wondering if the 15m chrono or sonic would make it or i definitely need a 18m ? My worry is that if i buy the 18m and one day by a foil board i would be...

Re: Tips for Ragnarok?

Hi
Im also attending ragnarok.
I know some people use gps for snowkiting if the weather is bad or for general purpose.
Is gps very important for the ragnarok race? or is it just a plus to have?
I guess not everyone have a gps of the surfers attending ragnarok.
Thanks
