Re: Downloops on surfboard

BUT, why do you downloop in the first place? Doing so, you have some disadvantages, and no gain except for the fun feel. Huge gain in available kite power-speed potential, with option to stall for faster redirect, and low angle of pull to increase your effective weight in the board. Those are the t...

Re: Covid vaccine

And there are massive excess deaths in the UK. You cannot make the claim that there are massive deaths in the UK. Never before have we called something a pandemic that is killing at a rate only 1/6th of the baseline rate. That means with a graph designed to make you think Covid-19 is the most terri...

Re: Covid vaccine

Covid deaths, or cause of death is harder to determine especially when they aren't doing autopsies on them, so they are estimates. Bottom line, the estimates of deaths are extremely inflated, while actual infections are shown to be extremely inflated by the PCR tests or possibly low due to lack of ...

Re: Covid vaccine

I got the J&J vaccine the end of November, and so far, I haven’t had any problems from it or Covid. Never would have guessed! I agree with those that are saying the numbers aren’t accurate and I’m not sure they ever could be, Um.............I think there are two ways that have been shown to reduce ...

Re: How much gear would you bring for 2 months

Hypothetically, because if the news is to be believed the world will end next week. That was last week! You missed it......and now you are stuck here. But yes, I am holding out hope that things get better too. Personally, I could never go on this "hypothetical" trip as I'd need to send a shipping c...

Re: Covid vaccine

This is the biggest newspaper in Norway stating that a person did die from other causes and we still just happily accept him/her as a Covid-19 death. That person goes into the numbers Dave is occasionally posting. Why would anyone just blindly accept that regardless of your general views on Covid-1...

Re: Downloops on surfboard

When I do downloops in turns on my surfboard it all goes well in lighter winds. But when I do it in higher winds, and the power becomes higher, I sometimes ride more towards my kite to dump power. This causes my lines to go slack and the result is that the kite doesn't turn to well and hits the wat...

Re: Predictions for Ram Airs in 2021

As a long time foil kite user I only agree with Pumpy on one point, unassisted self landing of a foil kite in higher wind ranges. Unassisted meaning no hooks, anchors or other devices, just get to back to the beach and drop the kite on the sand. I keep an Ozone Edge in the quiver for those days whe...

Re: Mini 5th - the joy of......

For those of you that think I'm trying to sell the SFLF system,.... it DEFINETLY has its problems too. Here are just a few. 1. Most pre 2016 SFLF safeties worked any where from only half the time to most of the time. And this is mainly why I still put up with the issues of MF safety system. Newer SF...
