Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

With the 11 I was quite uncomfortable standing on land at 16 knots even with short lines. And I didn’t have any luck water starting below 9-10 knots. It did act as an excellent buggy engine even in 4-5 and because of that I thought HF should be possible. Maybe with the right technique, and deep eno...

Re: Moses 790 wing

Another question is behavior of 790/710 fuse on its side. Float, sink slowly, sink fast? Thanks

Re: Moses 790 wing

So given the options available, 633, 683s and 790, which would be your number one choice? Maybe this depends on the conditions you kite. Here in Barbados we have winds between 10 kts and 25kts around the year. Never completely flat but always swells and mostly breaking waves on the reef. I like to ...

Re: Swim in with a Peak

There is a lot of info on the Peak 4 on other threads which you might find useful. I think the Peak 4's are amazing kites for certain styles of hydrofoiling, however I would not use them during the learning phase due to all the inevitable crashes and potential for dropping the kite. I would learn (a...

Re: Moses 790 wing

So given the options available, 633, 683s and 790, which would be your number one choice? Impossible to answer as individual choices... The 633 is the lively lightwind and allround good wave wing. 683 is for those who want to ride in light wind and overall, have fun and ease in maneuvers, go better...

Re: New marginal wind weapon: Kruiser Lightwind

Interested in this wing to pair with single skin kites. My boards are plate mounts. Anyone have experience with tuttle to plate adapters that work well with ketos masts?

Re: About real small pocket boards < 1 m, benefits and limits

I rode a 33" Kanaha Shapes board the other day and frankly did not see the appeal. It has plenty of disadvantages, the biggest being that it's significantly more difficult to waterstart because the whole nose of the board rests underwater, compared to my Moses T38, with no big advantage that I saw....

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

All the info on this topic compelled me to try a Peak 4. I had a 5 M out for the first time in 13-15 avg MPH, direct onshore with waist high waves. 1100 cm wing, 70 kg rider, 23 meter lines. Drift is astounding. A completely different league compared to strutless inflatables. Snap turns at the peak ...

Re: How important is the weight of your bar and lines for light wind foiling?

When you're flying kite at 12:00 o'clock, the kite have to carry the weight of the bar and lines. If the wind is marginal and kite is barely flying, there must be a difference if the bar is half kilograms lighter.. The difference is smaller when the kite is flying closer to the water, when most of ...
