Re: Big air kites vs all around kites

I have never been a lightweight kiter so I don't know how that feels, but my guess is that for someone at 155-160 the "need" for more struts is a lot less than heavier kiters. I am sure there are people that can do the math, but I am assuming that the "strain" the kite is under when I'm pulling it h...

Re: Ozone kitesurfing Sports New Equivalent?

I probably wouldn't be able to help you, but the "Sport" is this one?

Very google friendly. Searching for something first called Ozone and then Sport :D

Re: new reviews on 2021 North Orbits?

What year is that Rebel? The 2020 changed materials and made the glide/float incredible (it also killed a bit of the top end, but I love the change). I have a 15/12 airstyle setup for <25kn. You could probably get away with the 9-14 Orbit, but it'll be pushing the overlap a bit. The 2021s will be b...

Re: Which Twintip?

Hi, no I am not from Norway. Even though I find it very beautiful. I come from Germany. I think Havre comes from norway. And ok. I am a little bit smarter about Camber and Whitstable. Please excuse me for not knowing. :o I'll have to think very carefully about what I'm going to buy. Unfortunately I...

Re: new reviews on 2021 North Orbits?

75 Kilos. Wind was 28-30 in the middle. 25 lowest and gusts to 38. my quiver is 12/10 reach, 9/7 Orbit 21 Thanks. I would really have to reconsider going all the way down to 8 then. Might even get away with only two kites. 14 and 10. Hmm.... The 9/10m are different kites. I much prefer the 9 over t...

Re: Which Twintip?

Hello Mike101! Thanks for your offer. i have never heard of a shinn monk jungle lover before. I'll check it out. But feel free to put it up for sale. I think it will take me a while to come to a decision. Thanks a lot Havre to you too. I will probably look for a second hand board. On the other hand...

Re: Which Twintip?

Can't give much input to the different boards. I don't know them, but if you are on a budget I would say second hand makes a lot of sense. Most boards are not worn out (I'm sure some are if used sliding on objects etc., but those are the exceptions I would say). Pads do get worn out though. But not ...

Re: new reviews on 2021 North Orbits?

Tried the 9m now in 25-38 gusty knots. Ultra stable even if it a 12 o'clock with gusts. It is more direct and more progressiv than 2020. Lowend I cannot say. Highend is still amazing. Feels like it improved as well. Kiteloops really easy. Recovery is ultra fast. Early days yet, but at some point I ...

Re: Ozone Enduro V3 Release Date ?

I got an Ozone bar, but I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work with any low V bar. Ozone typically got longer lines at 25m, but I believe they sell 22m bars as well. Couldn't see that being an issue if you got a bar with shorter than 25m lines. Connecting it shouldn't be an issue - might n...
