Re: Naish Pivot vs Core XR or GTS

I have the Pivot and tried the XR and GTS. I found the XR too heavy, it's hard to describe this feeling but didn't feel comfortable in kiteloops with it vs the Pivot. Also with the bar, when trying it i touched the quick release by mistake and it released, really don't understand why they use this ...

Re: Naish Pivot vs Core XR or GTS

I have Core XR6 8m and GTS5 10m, and I also have the nexus 7m and tried 9m as well. XR6: it is the most user-friendly high-jumping kite i have ever ridden. I topped my jumping game from 9+meters into comfortably jumping 12-14 meters in just few sessions. The reason ? It pulls longer/higher and lands...

Re: Need advise on 8m kite for jumps and good hang time

I have Nexus 7m and XR6 8m. Nexus will elevate you to 15-20% less height than XR6, but its better for looping overall. XR6 is much more user friendly for jumps and much easier to land softly. Nexus will require more skills to get it right. I keep Nexus 7m as high wind freestyle kite since gts is a b...

Re: Bandit 2019/20 or XR5/6

XR6 is nowhere near alround. Its high jumping kite with good hangtime (and thats pretty addictive). But it sucks at all other disciplines (its slow, bad drift etc. etc.). Nexus is good (but not great) in any aspect, so thats your alround choice if u go core.

Re: Flysurfer Radical6 vs Core Choice3

Choice is a freestyle oriented board, made for boots with pretty big rocker, Radical is more like all-rounder. If you need it to ride with straps I would suggest looking at Core's all-rounder Fusion, not Choice. It will be much lighter and faster. Now I have plenty of experience with Fusions 2 and 3...

I found it hillarious how they wobble like large water-filled sausage baloons in the air (see at 0:25)

Re: True C kites 14 meters

If the topicstarter wants significant more lowend, he has to skip 15m anyways and go to 17 or more. Or get a foilkite. But he's not looking to unhook at the lowest possible windspeed, he's looking to get a few more knots above his current quiver. Again, wrong. The difference between 15m and 17m is ...

Re: True C kites 14 meters

Please check the GTS4 15 LW version. There is even video on gleiten.tv if i remember correctly. It is different materials and different construction than regular GTS4, but it really works in LW. What you get with 14m RPM in LW is a complete choke.
